If you have read any of my previous articles or courses you know that I like to learn and teach by practical examples. However, as much as everyone likes practical examples, there are a lot of terms and concepts in Kubernetes that you need to understand.
I promise you that once you go through the guide you'll get the basic understanding of concepts that are important in Kubernetes. Understanding the basics is the key and serves as foundation you can stack additional knowledge on. Want to learn about Cilium, Istio service mesh, or any other technology running on Kubernetes? Guess what, you need to know the basics!
If you are complete beginner to cloud-native, that's fine! I do suggest you check out the Beginners Guide to Docker to get the basic understanding of Docker first. But don't worry, even if you don't know about Docker, you'll be able to follow along
